My Favorite Summer Accessory

If you follow me on Instagram, there’s a good chance you’ve seen me rocking this accessory… and not just during the summer! 

I LOVE a good hat. For a chic dinner look, with a bikini… you name it, I’ll put a hat on! While you can’t go wrong with a chic baseball cap… wide brim felt or straw hats are my FAVORITE summer accessory.

Shop My Sunnies 

A hat adds the perfect finishing touch to whatever outfit you’re wearing… literally the cherry on top (of your head)! When I’m shopping for hats I always look out for classic silhouettes and materials. 

You can’t go wrong with a western silhouette (think cowboy hat) like this one here, or a wide brim flat-top hat like this one here! 

For the beach and by the pool, a straw hat like THIS one or THIS one is the best way to go. They look summery and chic… and not to mention you can shake the sand out of them pretty easily just in case the wind picks up!

When you’re traveling, my best advice is to either wear your hat on the plane to avoid it getting crushed in your luggage OR to pack around it… 

Place your hat into your suitcase upsidedown and stuff your bathing suits and coverups into it! Then take a pair of jeans, shorts, or even a towel and wrap it around the top of your hat for some extra support!
